Your browser can't talk to USB devices. Open this page in Chrome or Edge on a computer. This page needs to be opened over https.
Chrome or Edge on Windows, Mac, Linux or ChromeOS. Phones and Firefox/Safari can't flash.
How to flash
Unplug the battery from the board. The USB cable powers it for flashing.
Plug the Freenove ESP32-S3 module into your computer with a USB-C data cable (some charge-only cables have no data wires). The module has two USB-C sockets: use the one that shows up as a CH343 serial port. If nothing appears in the next step, try the other socket.
Press Install firmware above and pick the port called USB-Enhanced-SERIAL CH343 (Windows) or /dev/cu.wchusbserial… (Mac).
First install: say yes to erasing the device so it starts clean. Updating later: say no to keep your settings, tune and gyro calibration.
Wait for "Installation complete" (about a minute), then unplug USB.
Windows can't see the port? Install the WCH CH343 driver from wch-ic.com, then try again.
After flashing
Sound pack: download RCLC_D15_SD_card.zip, unzip it onto a FAT32 microSD card (4–32 GB) so the card has a packs/rclc folder, and put the card in the board.
Power up from your ESC's BEC and battery. The truck boots in about 5 seconds.
Connect your phone to the Wi-Fi RCLC-D15, password truckin123, and open http://192.168.4.1. That's the whole control panel: tune, sound, lights, gyro, suspension, race mode.
Pick your receiver under SETUP → RC CHANNEL MAP (iBUS, SBUS or PWM is detected automatically).
